We invite you to be part of creating our Substack eZine, A Cloak Called Sumud, by submitting original multidisciplinary work based on prompts with the intention to globalize the intifada. Through submissions like yours, we aim to collect episodic volumes on our Substack for the world to bear witness and empower others committed to visceral change. Our intent is to invoke, evoke, enchant, possess, and repossess the shards of human experience which escalate individuals from audience members to freedom fighters.

Through submissions like yours, we aim to collect episodic volumes for the world to bear witness to these celebrations of and crimes against our collective humanity. Over time, we will be curating beautifully bound copies to archive in libraries once we have enough resources to break through.
The Latest Prompt: “Resistance is Not a Metaphor”
This is to the armed freedom fighters resisting colonial revisionism, the life givers, caretakers, healthcare workers, civil defense forces, journalists, teachers, cooks, artists, people, kids; to the millions of hearts and hands we call relatives from the river to the sea through ocean to ocean. To my fellow diaspora: may we absolve ourselves in the eventual, literal understanding when they say it is a jihad until victory or martyrdom in all of its spectrum light.
How to Submit
We accept creative writing, photography, academic essays, multidisciplinary art, and interviews. Please supply a short explanation of the piece if appropriate, and who you are with a third person bio for citation purposes if accepted. A Cloak Called Sumud is free online forever. Subscriptions fund the hardbound goal and keep the lights on.
The Posterity Alliance is a grassroots movement that challenges crimes against our collective humanity. Our directive is simple: the bedrock of secure communities lies in the unalienable right to life's essentials—food, shelter, water, and freedom—a life-affirming infrastructure that nourishes the roots from which we all flourish.

In a world often marked by division and control, we reject the notion that confining and controlling people ensures safety. Instead, we strive to build bridges of understanding, compassion, and collaboration. Through grassroots campaigns, interconnected projects, coalitions, and political education, we aim to challenge the status quo and foster communities grounded in justice, equality, and humanity.

The Posterity Alliance is aligned with the pulse of global movements combating militarism and colonialism. We stand in solidarity with principles that echo liberty. By echoing voices of resistance and seeking truth in struggle, we contribute to the collective effort of creating a more just and equitable world.
Globalizing the Intifada
At our foundation we are a canvas of Palestinian struggle woven between all communities under the heel of Fortuna's Wheel. There cannot be peace without freedom for all. We are a cloak called Sumud. We are not just observers. The only way out is through, carving a way with creatively radical volunteerism—an ode to the belief that acts of brave compassion create paths to undiscovered solutions.
